While most people are hitting the beaches and BBQs for 4^th of July weekend, you could be grabbing your snowboard and heading out for a weekend full of carving, half pipes and rails. That’s right, Mammoth Mountain, CA, will stay open for skiing and snowboarding through the 4^th of July. This is only the 11^th time this has happened in the past 31 years.

Canyon Lodge and the Eagle Base area have both closed for the season, but the Main Lodge will remain open.
