As the end of August draws near, I couldn't stop myself from feeling a little bit sad to say goodbye to summer... although that only lasted for about 2 minutes before I remembered what the end of summer means: snow season is right around the corner! Whether you live in Colorado or New Hampshire, in the next couple of months you'll be putting away your shorts and tees and pulling out your hoodies and mittens. As I started getting more and more excited thinking about the slopes, my new snowboard and the snowboard weekends I already have set up, I decided to check out when the first ski resorts will be opening. Living in San Diego, I know nothing down here will be opening up too soon, but here are the projected opening dates for some of the top ski resorts in Colorado. As early as next month (considering the August is already done in my books), skiers and snowboarders will be able to start shreddin' snow in Colorado.
